Saidera is an international trio split between California and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They channel a truly global groove that’s already found a home on labels like NYC's Let’s Play House and London’s Leng.

For their latest outing, they drop Miscigenação on Ceci Discos 001 a new label from Alex Pasternak (DR BRONZER, Florecer, Lemonade). It’s a deep summertime cut, shaded with Balearic warmth, touches of MPB, and jazz-tinged colours layered over swaying rhythms.

The airy vocals feel like a breeze off the coast, while the percussion is lively, unhurried, and unmistakably rooted in Brazil’s musical spirit, driving everything forward. True to the country’s Carnaval tradition, there’s more beneath the celebration: nods to Mandela and Fela weave in a subtle but pointed political edge.

The Jacques Renault Rhythmental remix leans in heavier but keeps the slow-burn tension, whilst Diogo Strausz lifts the mood even higher with a bright, piano-led version, and the Saidera Steppers dub is tailor-made for turning up loud as the evening unfolds.
